All links must be cycling clubs, non-profit organizations or major regional cycling events and organizations in our area - DC, MD or VA. We will not be posting smaller rides, aggregator websites, commercial sites and the like.

- Adventure Cycling Association
Adventure Cycling Association’s nonprofit mission is to inspire people of all ages to travel by bicycle for fitness, fun, and self-discovery. Established in 1973 as Bikecentennial, Adventure Cycling is the premier bicycle travel organization in North America with 44,700 members nationwide.
- League of American Bicyclists
To promote bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation and work through advocacy and education for a bicycle-friendly America.
We do this by representing the interests of the nation's 57 million cyclists. With a current membership of 300,000 affiliated cyclists, including 25,000 individuals and 700 affiliated organizations, the League works to bring better bicycling to your community.

- Bike Maryland
Our mission is to encourage and promote bicycling, increase safety, improve conditions, and provide a voice for bicyclists in Maryland.
- Bike Washington
This site provides details about all the great recreational bicycle facilities around the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Listed here are many area recreation trails and bicycle routes. These routes attempt to avoid heavy traffic areas by making use of various recreational paths, rail-trails, and back streets.
- Bikes for the World
Bikes for the World is a sponsored project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, a 7,000-member non-profit advocacy and educational organization promoting bicycling in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Founded in 1972, WABA manages, sponsors, or coordinates a wide range of activities benefiting area cyclists and the community-at-large.
- College Park Area Bicycle Coalition
Goals. Educate people about the joys of bicycling. Inform cyclists about matters of bicycling safety. Raise issues at local, county, and state levels regarding all facets of bicycling. Promote the construction of a network of trails - both on and off road.
Encourage people to bicycle. A major objective of CPABC is to make the University of Maryland and its neighboring towns bicycle friendly so students, staff, and faculty can bicycle to work and school. CPABC serves the city of College Park and its surrounding geographic area.
- Mid Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts
MORE (The Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts), Inc. is a 501c (3) non-profit representing thousands of area mountain bikers. Founded in 1992, MORE maintains more than 250 miles of natural surface trails in 25 state and county parks in the region. MORE members contribute more than 3,000 volunteer hours annually and have constructed nearly 100 miles of new, sustainable trail. The club also leads hundreds of rides each year at local parks, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
- Virginia Bicycling Federation
The Virginia Bicycling Federation is a statewide organization working to change public policy and community attitudes, to improve the safety, convenience, and acceptance of bicycling.
With roots going back to about 1980, the current organization was formed in the early 1990s by bike clubs and other organizations, businesses, and individuals, coming together to form a unified voice.

The mission of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association is to create a healthy, more livable region by promoting bicycling for fun, fitness, and affordable transportation; advocating for better bicycling conditions and transportation choices for a healthier environment, and educating children, adults, and motorists about safe bicycling.
